July 11, 2024, Perpetrators: Members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Circumstances: Sheikh Adam Abdallah was returning from Kass market to Murtuga village. He was intercepted by two individuals in RSF uniforms on motorbikes. They killed him, looted his property, and fled. Victim’s Background: Sheikh Adam belonged to the Fur tribe and was a prominent figure in the village’s native administration.

Source: A local informant reported the incident to the Darfur Network for Human Rights (DNHR). The incident involving Sheikh Adam Abdallah is part of a broader pattern of violence and human rights abuses perpetrated by the RSF in South Darfur.
