Incident Summary:

On the evening of June 10, 2025, three armed individuals wearing Rapid Support Forces (RSF) uniforms entered the home of the victim, Mohammadin Osman Abdullah, and demanded he surrender his mobile phone. Upon his refusal, they shot him inside his home, inflicting fatal gunshot wounds to his chest and left leg, as confirmed by eyewitnesses.

After the attack, the assailants fled toward the western sector of the camp.

Perpetrators:

Local residents identified the attackers as members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
According to eyewitness accounts and documentation by the Darfur Network for Human Rights (DNHR), the perpetrators are known individuals in the area, reportedly affiliated with an RSF unit led by Issa Yousif Arkarang, who operates in Shangil Tobay.

Post-Incident Actions:

The victim’s family attempted to transfer him to a medical facility; however, he succumbed to his injuries before arrival.
