On December 23, 2022, armed militias affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces, driving military four-wheel-drive vehicles (land cruisers) and motorcycles wearing the uniforms of the Rapid Support Forces, attacked the villages of (Amouri, Takla, Kebuqi, Arba’a Gemmayzeh, Humaydah, and Kadret Shatti Qashtir, Kerry, Qalqali, Doka, Singo, Umm Trina, Ashma, and Kemski) They began attacking the innocent civilians in Amuri and the neighboring villages by burning and looting properties and homes, killing and wounding dozens of civilians. Since that time, the victim, Adam Abdullah, has been suffering from severe injuries to his body inside the Nyala Teaching Hospital in South Darfur state while he is with his brother, the mayor of the “Takla” area, Omar Abdullah Ibrahim, lying in the hospital with other seriously injured people so far.

As a victim member told the Darfur Network for Human Rights, we administered medical treatment to the victim, but he died due to serious wounds. Militias launched this attack with the Rapid Support Forces in the region of Belil, east of Nyala, 18 kilometers away.

The native administration complained about the Dagua tribe; to the Darfur Network for Human Rights, the Government of South Darfur State-Nyala, and General Hemedti, the Deputy Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, stayed for four days in the Amuri village, during which some aid was provided.
